Virginia Commonwealth University’s Baird Vascular Institute provides comprehensive services to diagnose and treat vascular diseases and disorders that range from the critical to the cosmetic. Working as a multi-disciplinary team, physicians from the VCU Medical Center provide vascular care to include dialysis fistula maintenance, peripheral arterial disease (diagnosis and treatment), oncology and venous access (ports for chemotherapy, PICC lines, etc.), venous disease (varicose veins and deep venous thrombosis) as well as cosmetic procedures for varicose veins and spider veins among other services.
